As a mom of three and the founder of the Centred Nutrition Collective, Sarah leads a team of dietitian-moms who support families with feeding and nutrition challenges. She oversees CNC’s clinical direction and spends her time creating trusted nutrition content for parents, educators, and organizations.
I’m a registered dietitian with nearly 20 years of experience, a mom of three, and the proud founder of the Centred Nutrition Collective—a Canada-wide nutrition counselling practice specializing in prenatal, infant, and child nutrition. I lead an incredible team of dietitian-moms who support families one-on-one with feeding and nutrition challenges.
Alongside my leadership role at CNC, I’m an author, writer, and speaker. I spend much of my time creating trusted nutrition content for parents, educators, brands, organizations, and other health professionals. This includes developing recipes, writing articles, and presenting on topics related to family feeding and child nutrition. I collaborate with organizations, commodity groups, and brands that align with my values as both a mom and a dietitian.
My nutrition philosophy is rooted in Ellyn Satter’s Division of Responsibility in Feeding, the Intuitive Eating approach, and the Health at Every Size (HAES) framework—guiding families toward trust-based, compassionate, and grounded feeding relationships from day one.
I also published my first book, Food to Grow On: The Ultimate Guide to Childhood Nutrition—from Pregnancy to Packed Lunches, in 2021 with Appetite by Random House.
Need individualized support? My team serves families across Canada in the Provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Ontario, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick the Northwest Territories & Yukon, including Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, Toronto, London, Ottawa, Halifax, Kelowna, Victoria, Vancouver, Whitehorse and beyond through virtual nutrition counselling. Yes, we specialize in pediatric and family nutrition, as well as helping individuals navigate food-related challenges or milestones like starting solids, picky eating, intuitive eating, disordered eating and youth sports nutrition.
